How to track solar energy trends in the US
The US Energy Information Administration reported on Thursday that solar installations in the United States hit a record high of 1,823 megawatts in December, up 23% over December 2015.
The U.S. Energy Information Agency’s data showed that the year-over-year growth in solar installed capacity of 5.4% was the highest on record.
Solar capacity grew by 15.7% in December from the previous year, the agency said.
Solar installations are projected to grow by 17.2% in 2020 and by 12.8% in 2021.
The latest report from the EIA, which is based in Washington, D.C., said that the U.,S.
solar energy sector was expected to reach 1.4 gigawatts of installed capacity in 2021 and 3.2 gigawatts in 2022.
Solar is the most reliable source of renewable energy in the country and is expected to account for roughly 25% of total electricity production by 2025.
The EIA reported that the solar industry generated $15.9 billion in revenues in 2021, up 13% from the same period last year.
The company expects a 25% increase in solar installations to reach 4.1 gigawatts by 2021, and another 25% to 5.1 megawatts by 2022.
The report comes just a day after the International Energy Agency (IEA) said that solar energy installed capacity is expected increase by 20% in the U.,U.S., Canada, and China by 2026.
Solar power is expected in all but two of those markets, and in all three of the U,U.
and China markets, solar power is projected to be more efficient.
The report from EIA said that China will reach 1,800 megawatts of solar capacity by 2029, and that the country will reach 5,800 MW by 2035.
The growth rate of solar energy in China will increase by about 10% in 2030, the EAA said.
“Solar power will remain the dominant source of new power generation for years to come,” EIA Director of Climate and Energy Economics John Christy said in a statement.
“The U.K. has recently become the world leader in installing solar PV, but it’s not the only place.
The rest of the world will have to catch up.
Solar energy will continue to be a strong contributor to the global power grid, and it will help drive growth in energy efficiency.”
The EIA’s report showed that solar installed installed capacity increased by 7.5% in November from the prior month, and by 11.1% in October.
Solar has gained popularity in recent years as a clean energy source, and the U-S.
is among the top three markets for the installation of solar power, according to the ETA.
The US has been the world’s largest market for solar power and installed a record 5.7 gigawatts on solar capacity in 2017, up from 5.2GW in 2016.
